Mr Nicholas Lee is a UK trained and accredited Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with extensive experience in specialist oral surgery. He provides oral surgery services at Occudental, managing a wide range of routine and complex dentoalveolar procedures under local anaesthetic.

Nicholas is currently based at the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals, London, having previously served for over fourteen years as a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

His specialist oral surgery practice includes:

• Surgical removal of wisdom teeth
• Complex dental extractions
• Management of impacted teeth
• Surgical exposure of teeth for orthodontic treatment
• Apicectomy and endodontic surgery
• Removal of retained roots and failed implants
• Bone biopsies and management of oral pathology
• Treatment of odontogenic cysts
• Management of medically complex patients requiring oral surgery

Nicholas trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in London, undertaking specialist rotations through St George’s Hospital, Northwick Park Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, University College Hospital, and the Eastman Dental Hospital.

He subsequently completed an NHS Training Interface Fellowship in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and St John’s Hospital, Bruges, Belgium.

Nicholas passed the Specialist Fellowship Examination in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd OMFS) in 2009 and entered the GMC Specialist Register in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2010. He is also listed on the GDC Specialist Register in Oral Surgery.

Referrals

Referrals are welcomed for patients requiring specialist oral surgery treatment, including those with significant medical comorbidities, dental anxiety, or complex surgical needs.

Routine and complex oral surgery procedures can be undertaken at Occudental under local anaesthetic.
